After graduation went to USU, took general edu. classes (with goal to go into Industrial Technology after mission), played freshman football, and wrestled on the varsity team.

In the summer and fall of 1968, moved to Woodruff, Utah and worked on the Deseret Livestock Ranch as a carpenters asst. in preparation for an LDS mission. Called to the California Mission from the Woodruff ward and served from Nov. 1968 thru Dec. 1970. The California Mission included the central section of Calif., part of Arizona and Nevada.

Served in Las Vegas (including Ariz. on bikes training a new missionary) for 6 months. Returned to Los Angeles when Calif. was divided into 5 missions but remained in the California Mission. My serving was one of many wonderful experiences in my life.

Returned to USU and majored in Automotive/Diesel Technology and Edu., with a minor in Industrial Safety. Became a member of the SAE and Sigma Gamma Chi. Active in LDS institute committee's, sang and traveled with the Sounds of Zion.

Karen and I (45th Year) are currently LDS service missionaries at Cinnamon Creek LDS Camp. We have 5 children and 17 grandchildren whom we love and enjoy immensely!

We retired in 2011 (disabled with PD in 2010) and have been Temple officiators and kept busy. Spent a few years singing with the Imperial Glee Club until the sheet music moved faster than the eye could follow, and have had DBS since... which has changed my life.

It used to be "kids... want a milk shake? Pass me your milk." Now I just tell the kids "If you go for a hike and you're afraid of bears, just take me along....the bear will dine on the slow one!"

Favorite places: Island Park, Id. Santa Cruz, Ca. North Shore, Lake Mi. St George/Hurricane Ut. Ark. and Va. with Family

Hobbies: Working, Vegetable Gardening, Flower Garden, ATVing, (Snowmobile and Water Craft) Fixing Cars, Truck, ATVs, Lawn Mowers, Small Engines, anything Outdoors, Camping and Hiking, Scouting, Reading, Working Etc. Etc. [Karen says I can't stop moving between (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM)... what do you expect?... have PD]

Employed as Mfg./Ind. Eng. for Wurlitzer Inc., Hesston Corp., Logan Mfg (LMC), Morton Thiokol (TDK), Lundahl Astro Circuits, Tyco Inc., Inovar Inc., Edge Products Inc.
